SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — September 1, 2026 — Sectigo, a global leader in automated Certificate Lifecycle Management (CLM) and digital certificates, today announced the appointment of Ian Hassard as Chief Product Officer. Hassard will lead Sectigo's global product strategy and drive the continued evolution of Sectigo Certificate Manager (SCM), the company’s flagship CLM platform. His appointment comes as organizations navigate shorter certificate lifespans, unprecedented growth in non-human identities, and migration readiness to PQC.

As Chief Product Officer, Hassard will lead Sectigo’s product vision and strategy, working closely with engineering and go-to-market teams to guide the continued evolution of SCM. Hassard brings more than two decades of experience building and scaling products across identity, cybersecurity and networking. Before joining Sectigo, he served as Vice President of Product Management at Okta, where he led product strategy across the Auth0 and Okta Customer Identity portfolio. Earlier, he co-founded RootSecure, a cybersecurity company acquired by Arctic Wolf, where he went on to hold product leadership roles helping drive the company's growth. An inventor with multiple patents spanning identity, security and emerging technologies, Hassard has built his career translating complex technological shifts into practical products that solve real-world security challenges at scale.
