Sectigo Buys Entrust’s Public Certificate Business

The acquisition comes as Google and other tech giants seek changes in how websites are deemed as trusted. Sectigo bought Entrust’s public certificate business, around half a year after major browsers said they would no longer recognize the troubled unit’s products.
