How do you request a Verified Mark Certificate?

This document is designed to help customers navigate the Verified Mark Certificate (VMC) ordering process with confidence and ease. It outlines the essential steps, requirements, and best practices to ensure that orders are placed accurately meeting all technical and compliance standards and efficiently minimizing delays and avoiding common mistakes. By following this guide, customers can streamline the process and achieve successful VMC issuance without unnecessary complications.

Please follow the following steps to easily order your Verified Mark Certificate:

Choose Verified Mark Certificates (VMC) from the Sectigo Shopping Page and click add to cart.

You will be directed to a check-out page. If you are a new customer, it will ask to fill out details and choose a password to create an account. If you are an existing customer, you can continue to use your existing account to purchase your certificate.

If you are creating a new account, you are required to enter your personal info and billing details to proceed further. Click on complete order once you have entered your details. Check to accept Terms and Conditions.
You will receive an invoice number on your order confirmation screen.

You will be re-directed to a page like one shown in the below images Click on set up to set up your VMC:

To begin with certificate set-up, provide with CSR and click continue to your domains.

Provide your domain details and click continue to domain validation.

Select your desired validation method and click on continue to organization information.

Fill in the details of your organization and click on continue to person information.

Provide required contact person information and click on continue to trademark information.

Fill in the necessary information about your organization’s trademark. Click on the Continue to logo to upload your organization’s logo.

Add the logo for your certificate. If you are hosting your own logo, check the box adjacent to “I will host my own logo”. Click on continue to summary page. Make sure your organization’s logo is SVG compliant.

Review the details in summary page and check on “I accept the Subscriber Agreement”. Click on Submit Certificate Request.

This will submit your certificate request to Sectigo for validation and certificate issuance. For finding the status, click on check status button which will redirect you to page where you can find status and upload necessary documents.
