Final Migration Phase is Live

You can now fully migrate your public certificate management from the Entrust Certificate Services (ECS) portal to Sectigo Certificate Manager (SCM). The final phase of the Automated Migration Tool is available in your ECS account.
September 8, 2025: ECS will enter read-only mode, disabling new certificate issuance and account modifications. Complete your migration before this date to avoid disruption.
Steps to Transition from Entrust
Select Sectigo as your CA within ECS.
Complete Organization and Domain Validation in ECS.
Gain access to your SCM account via the "Get access to your Sectigo account" link in ECS after validation.
Explore SCM capabilities: Issue public TLS certificates, run certificate discovery, generate reports, create notifications, and build custom field workflows.
Once comfortable, click “Migrate to Sectigo” in ECS to initiate full migration.
SSL.com Customer: What you need to know
If you currently issue certificates through SSL.com via ECS, you may continue doing so until you begin your migration to Sectigo Certificate Manager. However, please note:
- Once your migration is complete, issuance will only include Sectigo certificates.
- We recommend switching your SSL/TLS provider to Sectigo as part of this process for uninterrupted service and centralized management.

The acquisition includes all public-facing certificates, such as Entrust SSL certificates, S/MIME, Code Signing, Document Signing, eIDAS, and Verified Mark certificates. Private CA offerings are not included.
No, certificates issued from Sectigo will maintain the same functionality and appearance as those from Entrust.

All Entrust partners will be migrated to Sectigo. Sectigo and Entrust are working together to provide tools and information to help you during the migration process. Entrust's ECS Public Trust capabilities and the ECS Partner Portal will be end-of-lifed on September 8, 2025.
All public-facing digital certificates, such as SSL/TLS certificates, S/MIME, Code Signing, Document Signing, eIDAS, and Verified Mark Certificates, are included. Private CA services remain outside the scope of this acquisition.
ECS for public trust certificate issuance and management is scheduled for end-of-life on September 8, 2025. Customer ECS accounts will need to be migrated to Sectigo prior to September 8, 2025.
