By following this article, you will be able to find and copy the order number for any certificate record you have access to in Sectigo Certificate Manager (SCM), so you can quote it to Sectigo Support or use it in an internal reference. It covers the prerequisites for viewing order details, the steps from the Certificates list through the certificate Details tab to the Order Info section where the Order Number field appears, a quick reference path you can follow at a glance, and what to check if the field is not visible.

Prerequisites

• An authorized Sectigo Certificate Manager (SCM) account with access to the SCM portal.
• An SCM role with permission to view certificate order details.
• The certificate record you need the order number for already exists in SCM.

How to find the order number

Follow these steps to open a certificate record in Sectigo Certificate Manager (SCM) and read its order number.

1. Log in to the SCM portal using your authorized SCM account.
2. From the main navigation menu, go to Certificates.
3. Find the certificate you need in the certificate list, then select it to open the available actions.
4. Click View to open the certificate details page.
5. On the Details tab, expand Order Info to display the order-related fields.
6. Locate the Order Number field, then copy or record the value.

Troubleshooting

Issue: The Order Info section or the Order Number field is not visible on the certificate details page.

Cause: A different certificate record is open, or your Sectigo Certificate Manager (SCM) role does not include permission to view certificate order details.

Solution: Confirm that you selected the correct certificate, then ask your SCM administrator to confirm that your role grants access to certificate order details.
