The certificate that needs to be saved to proceed with installation is sent in a zip file by email or made available for download in your customer account.  Remember to unzip the file before installation.
 

1.  Insert the initialized SafeNet USB token delivered to you to your computer

• Make sure that only one token is plugged in.
• Do NOT initialize the token - otherwise the private key matching your certificate will be deleted

2.  Run the SafeNet Authentication Client which you have downloaded and installed earlier from here
3.  When prompted for the Token password, please enter the password which has been sent to you via email.

• It is highly recommended that you change the token password immediately.
• Keep the password in a secure place and do not share it with anyone.
• For information about changing the password please refer to the eIDAS User Guide

4.  Right Click on the Token Label (My Token) and Select Import Certificate

6.  Choose the certificate file from the file system and click Open.

The following message will confirm that your eIDAS certificate has been successfully installed on the token


At this point, you should be able to see your certificate on one of the token nodes in the left pane. By clicking it, you can get the certificate details shown in the right pane
