How to Enable and Disable Two-Factor Authentication for WebHost, Reseller, and EPKI accounts

Enabling 2FA for WebHost, Reseller, and EPKI accounts

 

1.  Log into your account
2.  Select User Options.

3.  Find the Two-factor Authentication option and click ENABLE TOTP.

4.  Notice the 2FA dialog.

5.  Scan the QR Code with the mobile phone using an Authentication application.

note::
If you don't have an Authentication application, follow these steps:

  • Download and install Google AuthenticatorMicrosoft Authenticator or Authy.
  • Scan the QRCode with the app.


6.  Enter the current password of your account and the code displayed in the Authentication app.

7.  Click Confirm

8.  For future logins, users will have to go through the 2FA by entering the code from the Authentication application and clicking Submit.

note:

  • There are a maximum of 3 attempts allowed to enter the code.
  • If all attempts fail, you will be redirected to the login page.

Disabling 2FA in SASP

You can disable the two-factor authentication in either of the following ways:

  1. Click the Disable TOTP button
    • Log into your Account
    • Select User Options
    • Enter your current password
    • click Disable TOTP.
