Error: "This domain is not available for enrollment" While adding a certificate in SCM
When adding an SSL certificate in SCM, you may encounter the following errors:
- "This domain is not available for enrollment"
- "You cannot order certificates for the following or additional domains: domainname.com"
Additionally, the verbose message may read:
"Please double-check correctness of entered information or navigate to ‘Domains’ subtab of ‘Settings’ tab to request/activate/delegate them or enable this type of certificate for them in terms of the selected organization."
Troubleshooting Steps
To resolve these issues, follow the solutions below:
Solution 1: Add Domains and Subdomains
Navigate to the Domains section in SCM.
Click on the "+" button and add the required domain(s) and subdomain(s).
After adding the domain(s) and subdomain(s), assign them to the same Organization and Department in SCM.
Solution 2: Verify Organization and Certificate Profile
While requesting the SSL certificate, ensure the following:
The selected Organization and Department match exactly for the domain and subdomain.
The certificate profile being used for the request is linked to the same Organization and Department.
By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the domain-related issues when requesting SSL certificates in SCM.
