How to generate Certificate Signing Request (CSR) for domain in Plesk
Overview:
Before you can purchase and install an SSL certificate for your website, you need to create a Certificate Signing Request (CSR). A CSR contains essential information about your domain and organization, which the Certificate Authority (CA) uses to issue your SSL certificate.
Plesk simplifies this process with an easy-to-use interface, allowing you to generate a CSR quickly and securely. This guide provides step-by-step instructions to help you create a CSR in Plesk and prepare for SSL certificate installation.
Prerequisites
- Access to Plesk with administrative privileges
- A domain name configured in Plesk
